The Big Double are two tournaments run daily at 22:00 ET and 22:02 ET at Full Tilt Poker. The Big Double gives you a chance to win a share of the daily progressive jackpot – in addition to your tournament winnings.
Registration for each tournament is $60 + $15 and you must enter both tournaments in order to qualify for the Big Double, and $9 from each entry fee goes toward the next day’s progressive jackpot.
Therefore, even if someone wins part of the jackpot, there will still be plenty of additional prize money to play for the next day.
Players can win money from the jackpot four different ways:
1. Cash in both tournaments (Double Cash) – All players who finish in the money in both qualifying Big Double tournaments will share a total of 3% of the day’s jackpot. This prize will be paid each day.
2. Be the best finisher in both tournaments (Best Double Finish) – The person who achieves the highest combined finish in both Big Double tournaments will receive 2% of the day’s jackpot. This prize will be paid each day and the winner will be determined by taking the average of each player’s finish in each tournament.
3. Reach the final table in both tournaments (Double Final Table) – All players who reach the final table in both qualifying Big Double tournaments will share 20% of the day’s jackpot.
4. Win both tournaments (Double Win) – If a player wins both qualifying Big Double tournaments, they will receive 75% of the day’s jackpot.
